CareNow Moves to New Headquarters
New office showcases African art

Westlake Village, CA (November 2, 2006) – CareNow Foundation, Inc. has moved to its official headquarters, located at 5706 Corsa Avenue, Suite 200M, Westlake Village, CA 91362.  CareNow founder Ed Bjurstrom formally opened the office, which is decorated in African motif, with a special ribbon cutting ceremony, facilitated by the Thousand Oaks and Westlake Village Chamber of Commerce, on November 1.  “This is a great day for CareNow.  We are excited about our new location and the projects we already have underway since our launch in April of this year,” said Bjurstrom.

CareNow’s mission is to – provide essential healthcare to the least served people in the world.  In a less than six month period, CareNow has three major projects currently in progress in the Democratic Republic of Congo, Zambia, and South Africa.

“We are an action-oriented organization focused on providing solutions to healthcare issues in remote regions of the world, such as Africa in a timely manner.  In other words – we want to act NOW and not later,” said CareNow executive director, Carrie Sharpshair.

Ed Bjurstrom and Carrie Sharshair are slated to travel to Africa later this month to visit some of the sites that CareNow will be endowing with funding and other much needed medical resources.

CareNow is committed to providing essential healthcare for the least served people in remote regions of the world, by furnishing salaries, equipment and supplies, and training of local healthcare providers.  CareNow is about “doing.”  “CareNow – DoNow.”  For more information about CareNow Foundation, Inc. or to make a donation, log onto our Web site at www.carenowfoundation.org or call 1-877-254-1115.
