CareNow Launches Coalition of Caring
Your spare change can help change the world

Westlake Village, CA (November 28, 2006) – CareNow Foundation, Inc. is launching the “Coalition of Caring”, a program aimed at offering individuals the opportunity to become involved in the world community, specifically with  helping those in remote areas of Africa who need medical assistance Now.

For about one dollar a day or $30 a month, anyone can become part of the Coalition of Caring and begin making a difference and changing the world.  CareNow’s mission is to – provide essential healthcare to the world’s least served.  Contributions from the Coalition of Caring will be used to assist CareNow in fulfilling its mission and in providing:

  1. Basic first aid training for community volunteers
  2. Supplies
  3. Equipment
  4. Payment to allow local doctors to live and practice in their own country and serve their own communities

 “Our goal is to transform a continent, one community at a time.  Please be part of this effort by joining the Coalition of Caring,” said Carrie Sharpshair, executive director of CareNow. 

Joining the Coalition of Caring is easy.  Simply log onto www.carenowfoundation.org and click “DonateNow!”  Then select the option to join the Coalition of Caring.  Each member of the Coalition will receive a special thank you item, a monthly CareNow newsletter, and complementary or reduced priced tickets to CareNow events. 

Three-quarters of those infected with HIV in the world live in Africa.  And, only about 10 percent of those in desperate need are currently getting treatment.  By joining CareNow’s Coalition of Caring, you can offer hope of treatment to all those infected.
