Paula Williams Appointed
To CareNow Foundation, Inc.
Board of Directors
Miss Williams’ appointment brings
Board total to four

Westlake Village, CA (August 15, 2007) – Ed Bjurstrom, founder of CareNow Foundation, Inc.,is pleased to announce the appointment of Paula Williams to the CareNow Board of Directors.  Miss Williams’ appointment is effective immediately.  “We are so very fortunate to have Paula Williams join our board.  She brings to the board room vast experience and knowledge of the financial aspects of operating a not-for-profit organization,” said Bjurstsrom. 

As a board member for CareNow, Williams will join fellow board members in ensuring the following:

  • Fulfillment of CareNow’s Mission and Purpose, which is to provide essential healthcare to the world’s least served;
  • Effective organizational planning;
  • Adequate and effective management of resources;
  • Monitoring the organization’s programs and services; and
  • A positive public image for the organization. 

Miss Williams is an Enrolled Agent and serves as President and CEO of NumberCrunchers, a full service tax and accounting firm in Simi Valley, California.  She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and Accounting and is currently pursuing a Master of Science degree in Taxation.
