April 2010

Register today for SafariNow 2010: A Journey for Healing

The CareNow Foundation will host its gala event at The Ronald Reagan Presidential Library on Sunday, May 2, from 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm.

This joyful celebration will feature African-inspired music by local jazz keyboardist and composer Tim Heintz and Friends, an African themed gourmet dinner catered by Presidential Catering, a silent and live auction, and a special guest speaker, Delanyo Adadevoh, Ph.D.

Dr. Adadevoh, a native of Africa, is the founder and President of the International Leadership Foundation, dedicated to the development of leaders of integrity in Africa. He also serves as a Vice President of an international NGO and helped to establish the African Leadership and Management Academy in Zimbabwe. He and his wife currently reside in Florida.

Guests will enjoy African art displays from the four African countries where CareNow has projects, and savor cocktails and hors d’oeuvres while bidding at the silent auction. African jewelry, unique African hand made items, Dancing with the Stars tickets, an airplane flight with an internationally known flight instructor, and a cruise to New England are just a few of the distinctive auction items that will be available.

In addition, visitors can take advantage of this spectacular setting and take a tour of the Museum. Free tours will be available prior to the event, from 5:00 to 6:00 pm. Black Tie Optional or colorful celebratory African attire is suggested. Tickets are $125 per person.

You can purchase tickets online at www.CareNowFoundation.org.
The deadline for registration is Tuesday, April 27.
